Glass Panel: Most of the image on designs such as this one are created by layering different colored glass powder on a double layer of cut glass.  The layered glass is melted in a kiln and usually requires multiple firings at different temperatures. Vitreous enamel is fired on to create detail.  Color intensity changes as the sunlight filters through it.
